Classes

Here’s an overview of the classes we offer. The Events page also shows more of these and other activities that might interest you.

Explore Archery

Explore Archery is a 5 week course that is a fun, low stress introduction into the sport of archery. Over the course of the program, archers will learn the basics of the sport through individual, competitive, and team-based games, earning cool tags to mark every one of their achievements. Developed through USA Archery, Explore Archery teaches concepts from the fundamentals of shot execution through the process of scoring with a wide range of fun and exciting games. If you’re interested in archery but have never held a bow, or are a long-time shooter and just want to have a fun evening with the sport, this may very well be the experience for you. For ages 8 through everything else, you’ll be welcomed into a fun and encouraging environment that will ignite your love of archery for years to come.

Archery 1

Archery 1 is a 5 week course that teaches you the basic fundamentals of the National Training System.
You are taught the safety rules, first shot, and other fundamentals.
The final week, we take a bench mark score. These scores are for you to keep and compare with the bench mark score of the final week of Archery 2.

As we teach the lessons and see that each student has the day’s lesson learned, we have been known to have fun at the end of class with CD’s or balloons.

Archery 2

Archery 2 is a 5 week course that continues the National Training System.
In this course, you learn more advanced techniques to improve your shooting stability and stamina.
Just like in Archery 1 the final week we shoot for a bench mark score to compare to your Archery 1 score. There should be a marked improvement.
