End of an Era

Last Monday I received an Email from The City of Lansing’s Parks an Recreation department informing us that they would not be renewing our contract to continue to teach the Basic and Advanced Archery classes. So as of Saturday the 13th of December, 2025 we will no longer have a home.

We are looking hard to find a new home for the new year so that we can continue to bring the fun of Archery to new people, and continue our mission of using Archery as a vehicle to get kids college scholarships.

If anyone knows of a place or person that has space for our program, please get a hold of us at Orecreekarchery@gmail.com. We would be very interested in speaking with you.

I would like to thank The City of Lansing and the Parks and Recreation for their support over the last 12 years, we were able to bring the sport to hundreds of people, as well as a multitude of tournament wins at all levels, several medalists in national level tournaments and, we’ve helped several kids to get into colleges.

For our members, we will continue to maintain our memberships in the SVAA, MAA, And USA Archery while search for a new home. This will allow you to continue to compete in tournaments while we find a new home.
