Thank You!

We were recently invited to speak in front of the Lansing Parks and Recreation Board of Directors about our Program.

So I invited our BoD and Shooters from our Advanced class to come with us, and we spoke about the history of Ore Creek Archery, What we are about and what we want to accomplish in the future.

We let them know about the Explore Archery program, The NTS Instructional program, and the JOAD/AADP Programs that we do for them, as well as the Adaptive programing that we are hoping to integrate into our offerings. We spoke of the “Scholarships” that we offer to provide Tutoring, College Application Assistance, and Competitive equipment in an attempt to get kids shooting in tournaments to build their archery “Resume’s” and get them introduced to college team coaches.

When we were asked what they could do for us I could only offer that we need more space. We are limited by the space that we have. With more space we could expand our programming to include more People from the community, and maybe get more kids shooting (and getting real scholarships) for college archery teams.
